At Sara Gilmore Academy, students in 6th and 7th grade ELA classes took time to explore and analyze Amanda Gorman's poem, "The Hill We Climb", which was read at the inauguration of President Joseph Biden on January 20, 2021. Gorman's poem spoke of hope and unity. Great job by our teachers to recognize a great piece to use for a meaningful lesson.
