Please be advised the Sara M. Gilmore Academy has just been named the 9TH BEST PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in New Jersey and the 14TH BEST PUBLIC MIDDLE SCHOOL for 2025 by U.S. News & World Report Magazine.

Please be advised that in commemoration with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Union City Board of Education, the Office of Community Relations in conjunction with Mayor Brian P. Stack and the Board of Commissioners along with County Commissioner Fanny Cedeno will be hosting the event "Let's Tie One More Ribbon for Breast Cancer" on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 6:30 PM at the José Martí STEM Academy.
